World Refugee Day, 20 June

World Refugee Day honours the strength and resilience of the more than 50 million people around the world who have fled war, persecution, and human rights abuses. It is a chance to renew the global commitment to end armed conflict, and to help the people who have been forced to flee their homes. Even one family torn apart by war is too many.
