To mark the EU Day against Human Trafficking, 2017, the Missing Persons’ Families Support Centre, Vilnius, Lithuania, in collaboration with Emmaus, held an official opening of ‘’The Green House,’’ on the 10th of October.
This was followed by a conference to raise awareness about human  trafficking, at which officials from the Nordic Council of Minister’s office in Lithuania officiated. The Minister of Social Security and Labour, Prosecutors from the Prosecutor General’s Office , Police Department representatives and representatives from the Vilnius municipality were also in attendance. The conference was hugely success in providing an opportunity to not only remember the victims of human trafficking but it was also an opportunity to network and share best practice.
