Awareness and Prevention
Awareness-raising and prevention work are at the heart of RENATE’s mission in the fight against human trafficking. We believe that preventing human trafficking is the most effective way to reduce its prevalence and impact, and this can only be achieved through education, collaboration, and systemic change.
For the past two years, RENATE’s Awareness Raising Task Group has been running programs in schools across Europe, reaching young people who are often the most vulnerable to exploitation, and empowering them with the knowledge to identify and resist trafficking. These efforts are not just about education but about prevention, ensuring young people are equipped to recognize the signs of trafficking and take action to protect themselves and others.
Awareness Raising is integral to all of RENATE’s initiatives, even within our prayer work, as we continuously advocate for education and awareness as fundamental steps in eradicating human trafficking.
