RENATE, Religious in Europe Networking Against Trafficking and Exploitation, will present at the 70th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70) on Wednesday, 11 March at 17:30 GMT / 18:30 CET.
This year’s RENATE event is titled “Human Trafficking: Emerging from the Shadows.” The session will bring together a distinguished panel of speakers who will explore the ongoing realities of human trafficking, while highlighting the importance of visibility, collaboration, and sustained advocacy in addressing this global injustice.
Drawing on RENATE’s work across Europe over the past year, the discussion will reflect on the experiences of victims and survivors, the evolving nature of trafficking and exploitation, and the continued need for strong networks of support, prevention, and education.
As an organisation committed to ending human trafficking and exploitation, RENATE works closely with religious congregations, civil society organisations, and international partners to raise awareness, advocate for justice, and support those affected by trafficking.
This event forms part of the wider programme of parallel events at CSW70, which brings together voices from around the world to advance gender equality and address issues affecting women and girls globally.
RENATE warmly invites colleagues, partners, and all those interested in this vital issue to join the event.
