As part of the Caritas Slovakia Open Day in June, Caritas Slovakia hosted a powerful photo exhibition entitled “Sold Lives: From Invisibility to Memory”, raising awareness of human trafficking and its devastating impact on victims.
The exhibition featured striking photographs and real-life stories inspired by the experiences of survivors, offering visitors a deeper understanding of the many forms of exploitation and the vulnerabilities that traffickers exploit. It also highlighted the importance of prevention, protection, and ensuring access to support for those affected.
Organised as part of the ongoing STOP Human Trafficking project, the exhibition generated meaningful conversations throughout the event and encouraged visitors to reflect on the hidden realities of human trafficking and the shared responsibility to prevent exploitation and support survivors.
