On 30th July, to mark the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, RENATE members and friends from across Europe and beyond gathered online for a moving time of prayer, reflection and solidarity with those affected by human trafficking and exploitation.
With more than 60 participants joining the gathering, the service brought together religious, lay partners, advocates and supporters, united in hope and in our shared commitment to ending human trafficking.
Throughout the prayer service, participants were invited to reflect on the dignity of every human person, to remember those whose lives have been impacted by trafficking, and to pray for healing, justice and freedom. The gathering also honoured the courage and resilience of survivors, whose stories continue to inspire our work and strengthen our resolve.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who joined us, and especially to those who generously contributed through prayers, readings and reflections. Your participation helped create a meaningful and prayerful space in which we could stand together in compassion and hope.
If you were unable to join us, or if you would like to revisit the service, the recording is now available on our RENATE YouTube Channel, link below.
Together, through prayer, awareness and action, we continue to work towards a world where every person can live in freedom and dignity.
