Peace Begins with Dignity: A Global Call to End Human Trafficking
On 6 February 2026, RENATE will take part in the International Day of Prayer and Awareness Against Human Trafficking, joining the global network Talitha Kum and partners worldwide in an Online Pilgrimage of Prayer and Awareness.
This international vigil brings together individuals, communities, and organisations across all continents and time zones, from Oceania, Asia, and the Middle East, to Africa, Europe, and the Americas, to stand in solidarity with those affected by human trafficking and to reaffirm a shared commitment to dignity, justice, and peace.
The theme for 2026, “Peace Begins with Dignity: A Global Call to End Human Trafficking,” invites participants to reflect on the human cost of exploitation and the responsibility we share in building systems and cultures that protect the most vulnerable.
RENATE will participate in the vigil representing Europe, joining voices across the world in prayer, awareness, and collective action against human trafficking.
